Emma Levick
Emma Levick graduated in 2000 from Chester University with BA(hons) in Art. Working as a full-time art and design teacher for five years at a secondary school in Shropshire allows Emma to spread her enthusiasm for drawing and painting, and to inspire others to explore their creative sources.
Emma’s work across the last year takes its inspiration from the world and its human inhabitants. The human body, and the physical and spiritual journeys people undertake, are limitless subjects that are explored repeatedly on her canvases, where she uses both paint and textile techniques to explore both linear and fluid movements.
Some of Emma’s influences include Pollock, Auerbach, Picasso, De Lempicka, Bridget Riley, and Gaudi. Emma currently lives in Cheshire and works happily from home.
